Description:

Deserted church near Avlon (Kakosalesi). It is a simple, two-columned, cross-in-square church with elegant cloisonne masonry.

Some of its parts were well preserved till 1940, the year it was published by A. Orlandos and became known to the scientific community.

Professor Bouras dates the church to the 12th century.

There is no historical evidence on the church.
