DEFINITION

Hagioi Anargyroi Kolokinthi: Post Byzantine church on the foot of the Acropolis. According to patriarchic documents of the 16th and the 17th century, the church and the area around it belonged to the priest Dimitrios Kolokinthis, who converted it into a convent. When the Monastery closed, the church became Metochion of the Holy Sepulcre. It is dated to the early years of the Turkish domination and it is a single-naved basilica.
