DEFINITION

Panagia Koulourdou: Post Byzantine church (17th century) in Kolokinthous area. It is located in the area Mikoniatika in the municipalities of Hagioi Anargyroi and Ilion on Alphios banks, tributary of Kiphissos. It belongs to Perides brothers, who claim that it was built because of one of their ancestor’s vow around 200 years ago. Another name of the church is “the Assumption of the Virgin Mary”.
