Fragment of a marble cornice decorated with complexes of animals on a ground covered with leaves and vine fruits. The décor is a combination of low and high-relief. Expressiveness, grace and movement characterize the composition. It comes from Athens and it was formerly part of the Thisseion Collection. It is dated to the twelfth century.
