Marble fragment of an epistyle with flat-relief decoration. Interlaced bands of the same width constitute an aesthetic ornament based on a heart-shaped palmette, which is characterized by accuracy, symmetry and plasticity. These sculptures have similar technical and stylish characteristics and are dated to the thirteenth and fourteenth centuries A.D. It comes from Athens.
