Description:
Two corner fragments of a marble epistyle with an inherent skew-cut cornice. The surface of both architectural fragments is adorned with relief decorative themes based on ancient patterns, such as meander, ovolo moulding, acanthus leaves and lance-shaped leaves, arranged symmetrically in three zones. They come from Moni Petraki in Athens and they are dated to the fifth century A.D.
