Marble dosseret with relief decoration. On its two narrow sides it is decorated with a monogrammatic cross in a banded circle, which is surrounded by long-stem lotus flowers and hydric half-leaves. It is a common decorative theme in fifth century A.D. sculpture. The dosseret comes from the basilica of Klimatios in Athens and it is dated to the fifth century A.D.
