The interior of Hagioi Theodoroi paralavrion from SE (Bouras Ch.)

Theodoroi, Hagioi, paralavrion of Osios Meletios

Area: Pastra - Kithairon
Type: Cross-in-Square
Date: 12th century

Description:

Metochion of the Monastery of Hosios Meletios. Nowadays, it is traced totally deserted in the west of the Monastery in the wood. It is a small, simple, two-columned, cross-in-square church. Orlandos has dealt with this monument in his publication on the monastery of Hosios Meletios, where he referred to both 12th century capitals that constituted the columns of the main church. One of these capitals has been removed to the yard of the neighbouring Monastery of Hosios Meletios, while the second one has been lost.
